Born in Mexico and raised in Southern California, at a young age Jimmy developed a lifelong passion for creating and performing. He grew up speaking both English and Spanish regularly, and does not have an accent in either language.

 

After joining the United States Navy and serving in the Gulf War, Jimmy went on to earn a mechanical engineering degree. Due to his military background, he is very detail oriented and reliable when it comes to deadlines and time constraints, and as a degreed engineer, he’s proficient with technical terminology.

 

As a kid, Jimmy developed an interest in music and taught himself to play guitar, a passion that continues to this day. An experienced, seasoned musician, he has been around recording studios for most of his career. Using his knowledge and experience, he’s set up his home studio to produce a very professional sound and is constantly improving on acoustics.

 

Being an avid world traveler, Jimmy’s many unique and interesting adventures have only fueled his creativity, as he has encountered different places, people and languages over the years. Extensive travel experiences have also taught him the value of flexibility and openness to new directions.

 

Jimmy has never lost his passion for creating, performing, and bringing people together, so whether you need a warm friendly neighbor, fun gamer, reassuring friend, confident tough guy or a detail-oriented technical explainer, Jimmy can cover a broad range of voices for your project. 

 

Jimmy was trained at the Voice Actor Studio in Las Vegas and continues to attend classes and workshops to further his career.
